Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Rural Septic TN. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website at ruralseptictn.com and the septic system services we provide throughout Tennessee. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
Description of Services
Rural Septic TN provides residential and commercial septic system services throughout Tennessee, including but not limited to:
- Septic tank pumping and cleaning
- Septic system installation
- Septic system repair and maintenance
- Septic inspections
- Drain field services
- Grease trap services
- Emergency septic services
The specific scope of work for each project will be detailed in your service agreement or quote.
Service Appointments
Scheduling
When you schedule a service appointment with Rural Septic TN, you agree to provide accurate information about your property, the nature of the service needed, and your contact details. We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled time window, but appointment times are estimates and not guaranteed.
Access to Property
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your property and septic system components at the scheduled appointment time. This includes:
- Ensuring the service area is accessible to our vehicles and equipment
- Locating and exposing septic tank lids when possible, or informing us if you need assistance
- Securing pets that may interfere with service or pose a safety risk
- Clearing obstacles from the work area
If our technicians cannot safely access your septic system or complete the service due to conditions on your property, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the appointment. Additional fees may apply for return visits.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
We request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee. Emergency situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Pricing and Payment
Quotes and Estimates
Quotes provided by Rural Septic TN are based on the information available at the time of the estimate. Actual costs may vary if site conditions differ from what was described or if additional work is required beyond the original scope. We will communicate any changes in pricing before proceeding with additional work.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept various forms of payment as indicated at the time of service. For larger projects, we may require a deposit before work begins.
Late Payments
Accounts not paid within 30 days of the invoice date may be subject to late fees and collection actions. You agree to pay all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney fees, if we must take action to collect unpaid amounts.
Customer Responsibilities
As our customer, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about your property and septic system
- Disclosing any known issues, hazards, or special conditions on your property
- Ensuring someone 18 years or older is present during service appointments when required
- Following any maintenance recommendations provided by our technicians
- Obtaining any necessary permits or approvals required for your project
- Ensuring underground utilities are properly marked before excavation work
Permits and Regulations
Certain septic services may require permits from local or state authorities. While we can assist with the permit process, obtaining necessary permits is ultimately the property owner’s responsibility unless otherwise specified in your service agreement. All work performed by Rural Septic TN complies with Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation regulations and local codes.
Warranties
Workmanship Warranty
Rural Septic TN stands behind the quality of our work. Specific warranty terms vary by service type and will be provided in writing at the time of service. Warranty coverage applies only to the work performed by our company and does not extend to pre-existing conditions, damage caused by others, or failure to follow maintenance recommendations.
Limitations
Our warranties do not cover:
- Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or failure to perform recommended maintenance
- Problems caused by third parties or acts of nature
- Issues arising from conditions that were not visible or disclosed at the time of service
- Normal wear and deterioration of septic system components
- Damage caused by tree roots, ground movement, or flooding
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Tennessee law, Rural Septic TN’s liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Lost profits or business interruption
- Damage to landscaping, driveways, or other property features that may occur during normal septic service operations
- Pre-existing conditions or defects in your septic system
- Delays caused by weather, permit issues, or circumstances beyond our control
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you in full.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rural Septic TN, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
Property Damage Acknowledgment
Septic system work may require excavation or access to areas of your property that could affect landscaping, grass, driveways, or other features. While we take care to minimize disruption, some impact to your property may be unavoidable. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept this possibility. Restoration of landscaping or other property features is not included unless specifically stated in your service agreement.
Hazardous Conditions
If our technicians encounter hazardous materials, unsafe structural conditions, or other dangers not disclosed prior to the appointment, we reserve the right to stop work immediately. Additional charges may apply for hazardous conditions, and we may require specialized services or remediation before continuing.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Rural Septic TN and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

These Terms, together with any service agreements or quotes provided for specific projects, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rural Septic TN regarding the subject matter herein and supersede all prior communications and proposals.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
